Is that rust over the rear wheel opening? More photos would have been nice.

Hard to say - it may just be a reflection.  Yes, more pics would be nice - it could be mint, perfect... or rusty from sitting around.

Back in the '80s I had a '68 Fury that only had 13,000 miles on it, but it was rusty/rotten from sitting outside in a Halifax driveway for 20 years... would have been mint had it been stored inside.

Hard to tell with just one photo. I swear I'm going to start a Kijiji ad writing business (with photo tips as well)!

Todd that's a good idea but Kijiji folks are cheap in the first place.

I had someone I knew with an ad up for months, its was terrible, bad cluttered photos, poor description.

Finally I said let me take some photos and redo the ad for you, I even bumped the price. It got immediate attention and the product sold.

On the Parisienne I'm not sure what 350 is under the hood in 1972. I have reference material at home that I may have to look at later.

It doesn't seem like rocket science to me but apparently it is. Take this Diplomat for instance. It's been for sale for over 5 years (reason I know this is I was checking to see what old cars were for sale in PEI before I moved out here in 2013). Nothing has changed- the photo, blurb or price..
www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/charlottetown-pei/1987-dodge-diplomat-antique-for-sale/1108531383

If it were my car I'd lose the goofy continental kit and rims... and perhaps do an ad like this:

1987 Dodge Diplomat. Only 93000 miles on this Florida car. Extremely solid throughout. Hard to find in this condition in the Maritime's! These cars were favorites for taxi companies and police departments as they were super reliable, tough and easy to work on. Bulletproof 318/Torqueflight auto. Clean interior, Even has power windows! Runs great. Parts easy to get. Only $2995.

Then I'd ad a bunch of photos- some with the parking lights on, good interior, engine shots (and make sure the car is clean)

($2995 looks better than 3k to me). smile

Looks like a decent car.......but I don't perceive much market......for any full size car ...of that era....unless it has folding roof...

I had a look at my reference materials and the sbc 350 2bbl is the only 350 available in the 1972 Parisienne so its orange. Pontiac 400 and 455's were available options.

Someone posted that question here a couple of weeks ago and apparently he's hanging out on the Ontario Rodders Forum?

Ah, thanks Carl.  As long as 427Carl is doing well, I'm happy to hear it.  He is missed here, but interests change, people move on.

I guess there's really no sense hanging out on a Canadian Pontiac/Acadian/Beaumont forum if you don't own one. Oh wait a minute..
