That was one of the cheaper kits, most basic 1/25 like that were priced from 40-55. Too rich for me. and no line of testors and no real decent aftermarket detail parts either.
I wish him luck, but almost impossible to stay alive with the internet these days. Even Gooch is gone.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
From the age of about 12 into my 40's, i loved building these kits but now i have little patience to do it. I have about 10 kits that are still in the box of various 50's and 60's Chevy's that may never be built. Today' generations have no desire at all to do this kind of stuff, they just want video games. I still have most of the kits that i built going back to my teen years. Sadly it is a lost art and a few of us older guys are still doing it for now.
