i know there is different opinions on this and first off my car is just for cruising, soooo, should i be worried about not having them? Should i always use a lead additive? if so, Which one? Never thought i would buy a 62 strato chief but could not let it go to crusher. Runs great and little rust in rear but shifter jams alot is this common, bushing? I could really use some help because this car is sharp and i starting to enjoy working on it.Thanks Tom

Has anyone any info on 425hp 409 pontiacsfrom1963? I had one I bought new in 63 and a buddy bought an identical one after seeing mine .I am curious as too any others that someone might have heard of. Mine was a Stratochief, 2 door car,4speed.

im getting no spark so i was going to change the ignition coil but is there a way to test the coil seperatly to make sure. I would love to keep the original one cause all the new ones are red, black or way too shiny chrome.

I recently bought an Edelbrock Performer Intake for my Laurentian's 350. Now I need to get a carb. I am thinking of going with an Edelbrock Carb. Is anyone running one? If so, any problems? What about linkage? What CFM are you running? Thanks Todd
