As the subject heading asks. Does anyone have info on how many 396 and 427 cars were built? I can find that 10 2+2 convertibles came with a 427 but what about other applications. The VVS I got for my 69 396 2+2 only indicated that 1943 2+2 coupes were made but no power train break down.

I am cleaning stuff in my tumbler and when I was putting this one in the tumbler today I noticed it doesn't have a seal in it. I never realized not all of these were the same design. There are some with a seal inside to keep the oil from coming out past the gear. To me, this design would be more prone to oil leaks...

Yet another incident that I cannot explain, hoping someone here can. Rocker tension seemed ok, can tell in the images that the nuts are not loose. Replaced the bent rods, replaced the rockers with roller type, then the other side did this:

Hi all, so the F40 RPO all our aussie cars got is for heavy duty front and rear suspension. I know that means 4 link and possible shockie ratings but what is the difference for front suspension over standard? Just shockie ratings? cheers all.
