GM Big Block PCV Hose Still Available New
(

)
(Preview)
Every so often an oddball little part is still available from GM for our old cars. This is one of them. I ordered it last week because I didn't like a piece of straight bulk PCV hose, it takes too big an area to get from the carb to the PCV valve in the left valve cover. This hose, as you can see, has a nice molded...

Drill out hardened steel shift lever?

Is there a way to drill a hole in a hardened steel shift lever? In the picture you can see the lever on the right has a second hole closer to the pivot point to allow for "short stroke" shifter operation. If I am right, a normal drill bit would maybe scratch the surface of the left lever if I try to drill a hole i...

A while back there was a thread here on 67 and older shifters which included an eBay source for replacement parts. My 1968 Acadian / Nova Muncie shifter was prone to binding & locking up.
