What are these?
(Preview)
On my 67', at the rear lower control arm mounts, there is a brace of some sort on either side. They face forward parallel with the frame rails and contact the floor with some kind of pad. I've never seen anything like them. Are they a 4 door hardtop only thing?

Baby's getting some front end work done
(Preview)
I had pondered doing the ball joints and control arm bushings myself. Heck, Mark (CDNPONT) even dropped over his spring compressor and ball joint fork. The thought of doing all this on jack stands really didn't appeal to me so... I got Tiny to do it! Jeff started on her this afternoon. After hearing abo...

Front coil springs question
(Preview)
I'm going to be replacing the ball joints and control arm bushings on the Laurentian soon. It would make sense to replace the springs with big block springs at the same time. However, my plan was to drive the car this summer until the big block was ready and then do the swap over a couple of weekends. The fr...

New Booster, but a question?

Just recieved my new Booster from Antique Chevrolet. they got it from Fine Lines in NY, and they apparently got it from MBM brakes in NC. It looks great, and being from MBM, it's made in USA, which is a nice surprise. I was expecting China Corp. It has one variation from stock. The mounting studs are all 3 3...

For a brief history, the car had a frame off and it was cross measured to be right on. All the front end parts were replaced, including a tighter ratio steering box, and then an alignment.
