Good morning Beaumonters, this may be a stupid question to some, but I have always wondered if any year, any model of the Beaumont had the louvered hood vents available as a factory option? Thanks, Shawn

Well, finally bit the bullet and ordered some metal for the car. Its only been sitting for 30 years(since Ive owned it) so its about time. Full floor and trunk will be here in a month. Anybody thinking of going? If we can sort out the electrical issues that keep my Beaumont from staying running for any length of time, she'll be putting in an appearance. If not, I'll take something else. Never been, but it's very positively reviewed by those who have.

Has anyone installed their own vinyl top without removing the chrome drip rails? My drip rails are original and in great shape. I would hate to damage them in removal and the have to replace them with repops. Looking for some direction and advice on this project.

My 66 sd came with a vinyl top as an option. I would like to have one installed. Did you have it done in a shop? Has anyone tackled this project? Where did you purchase your top? Any info appreciated.

I need a pair of male end pigtails for my 66 sd restoration. Does anyone know where I can find these. I could always replace both male and female pigtails with a different setup but just thought I would ask on here.

Well, after 7 years of looking for the rear quarter moldings I gave up. The trim for these cars is truly made of unobtanium. I figured its a driver and not a show car so I cleaned up the originals as best I could and put them on. -- Edited by Lt1 Burb on Sunday 5th of February 2023 06:57:00 PM

Joe is amazing at his craft. Will have the car in his shop over the next 5 months. In the meantime, I am going over the interior and deciding salvageable parts to reuse. Others ill probably post here for grabs.
