does it hurt shocks to be fully extended?. Putting bare frame together with new rear springs. Got told it was not good for shockes to have pressure on them with no body weight

Completly re doing a 67 beaumont..previously owned one now restoring /redoing one....been out a this for a long time so many options for disk brake conversions...what has everyone had luck with full kits with everything or kits to allow use of let's say Corvette setup .let's say

Rebuilding the suspension in my '65 El Camino. Contemplating replacing the steering box with a fast ratio one from a newer Jeep. Never occurred to me the effect of the stock diameter wheel. For those who have replaced the steering box. Have you changed the steering wheel?

i got sick of moving the bars around the shop so decided To put the kit in today. I put the motor and trans in for a crossmember location and then put the kit in. I have to build 2 little angle brackets for each bar and finish welding it in.
