Carbon canister

Could a carbon canister get plugged up and cause a pressure build up in the fuel tank, thus causing a flooding problem when the car is shut off placing excess pressure on the fuel in the bowl throught the bowl vent? Thanks for any ideas.

1970 LeMans rear end

I have a 70 lemans parts car with a 10 bolt rear that has the cut outs on the sides of the cover and it also has the square ears just like a 8.5 rear end has. Can someone tell me exactly what this rear end is. I would like to build a 8.5 10 bolt for my 72 lemans to replace my 8.2 peg leg.

8.2 BOP Cone Posi with new 3.55 Gears

Just finished rebuilding my diff the other day and just wondering if anyone is using synthetic gear oil or just using what the book says with the posi additive? Also it says to drive her for 10 miles and let the gears cool for 30 minutes .. which I have done but then it says to change out the oil in 500 miles.....

Purging the garage today. Came across apair of 305 ? exhaust manifolds that were on a 350 witch I removed from a1980 Parisiene that I parted out. They look like they wouldn't flow worth crap! Are they scrap metal or could somebody use them[free]? I kept the 350 block for a future 383 build [maybe]

How to determine if it's a posi or not?

I have a 10 bolt rearend and what are the factors that make a posi or is it just a limited slip. The #'s are 1129 9799700 I had the back off,but don't know what to look for. Plus what happens if you turn one of the axles?
