i just got a rebuilt 3 sp trans froma 52 chev for my 53 pontiac with a 239 is the clutch the same as a chev? checking rock auto now....

Good day. Following up on a previous post. Can anyone confirm if the 239 CID flathead 6 engine in my 1953 Canadian built Pontiac Pathfinder is the same as the engine in the US built 1953 Pontiac Chieftain? Having a difficult time tracking down a water pump which needs replacing. Thanks.

Keep a 125/70D15 spare in my El Camino. The mini donut one. Had it almost as long as the car. Checked it the other day only to find it has sidewall cracks. Looking locally no one can get this tire. Has anyone else recently bought one of these ?
