i just got a rebuilt 3 sp trans froma 52 chev for my 53 pontiac with a 239 is the clutch the same as a chev? checking rock auto now....

Good day. Following up on a previous post. Can anyone confirm if the 239 CID flathead 6 engine in my 1953 Canadian built Pontiac Pathfinder is the same as the engine in the US built 1953 Pontiac Chieftain? Having a difficult time tracking down a water pump which needs replacing. Thanks.
