Hi Guys I have a 283 complete motor made in Canada. The block number is 3731548 the stamped number is 9v79305. Heads are 3731554 hc and the crank is 3735236 Any help would be great Thanks, Joe

The OEM carb for the 239 c.i. 6 cyl. is listed as a Carter WA-1 717S single barrel. I have a manifold assembly that has a Carter WCD 2-barrel that bolts right on. I am installing the Hi-Compression head on the rebuild and wonder if there is any reason not to use the 2- barrel?
