Hi All My name is Scott I live in Summerland B.C, I have a 65 Beaumont S.D which I have had since I was 20 years old and have managed to hang onto it through out the years. I started a nut and bolt restoration 5 years ago and am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. many years ago all my trim went missing while in storage. But my patience is paying off I have managed to find most of those hard to find parts the only trim I am missing is the rocker trim (Ha.Ha I know ).The car originally came with a 283 and a 2 speed power glide. The car now has a high performance small block 400 4 bolt main in front of a 2 speed power glide with a shift kit and stall converter. I fired the car up last summer for the first time in twenty years nice to hear it running again. The car has recently been re assembled for the final time and received its final coat of high build. The interior ,door jams ,engine bay and trunk and hood have been painted. The car is Blue with green pearl. The only thing I have left is to locate where the gills go on the rear quarter so I can fit them and finalize the body unfortunately my old quarter panels were thrown away before I could save a template work my job keeps me away from home lots but hope to have the car completed next year merry Christmas and a happy new year too all Scott
Welcome here Scott and I have to say, I am happy to see you did the firewall body colour instead of black like so many people do...

Hi Scott.
I have the template that I used for mine if you want it. I just traced on some paper, using the door jamb and rocker body line as a guide..
I think its folded up in my garage.. if you want it.. it's yours.. I can also take some photos with a tape in the photo

Welcome aboard Scott, from a 66 SD owner in Edmonton. (On a side note, perhaps the following thread may be of interest to you: http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t54229502/fs-1965-beaumont-hood-spear-centers/ )

We need to set up a central BC chapter of CP. I know there's a bunch if guys on here from the area. It'd be great to meet them - and you - in person.
