Sorry, but I can't belong to a Canadian Ford forum. I have too much hate.

C'mon... give it a try... soon you'll be enjoying the freedom of no brand restrictions.
You can actually like nice cars made by a company other than GM. I do it all the time, and it's good.

Nice car ! Can you pass on a link to the original ad ?
I always seem to have these silly stories, but the house to right of the frame in the picture below had a brand new 1968 Mercury Rideau 500 fastback in 68 very much like the car that is the subject of this post; their daughter occasionally came down from Orillia with her husband & infant daughter in a black 1967 Grande Parisienne coupe just like the one on the cover of the 67 brochure. The Pontiac would have been parked on the road in front of the house.
The house beyond it with the old 1950s Austin had a brand new 1968 Galaxy 500 fastback in 68, while the grandfather was there often in his 1961 Olds Super 88. That old Austin was replaced by a brand new Austin Cambridge in 1966.
I am the little brat in my mother's arms in that 1963 photo.
I'm generally not a F**d guy, but I like this:
