Looking for some info--- I have a 76 sport coupe and looking to change the front end with a 74 Grand Am front piece, What my question is can the front header piece with the headlights be changed or do i have to change the whole front clip or can this be done at all???

The differences in the two body styles even though only 2 years apart are tremendous. The GA is longer than the regular Sport Coupe, as a result of the nose and header to start with. 74 GA used round headlights and the hood is contoured around the lights at the header panel while 76 used quad rectangular lights with a flat hood at the header. The only way to do this is to take the all the 74 parts, fenders. hood, header and bumper and put them on the 76. Grand Ams were built in Pontiac and if you have an Oshawa 76 Sport Coupe there may be idiosyncrasies in production that will have to be overcome once you start work. It seems like a lot of work and not really sure of your goal in doing this, but its your car so have fun.

Front and back seats are easy to find to complete the Grand Am. More value in a complete 74 Grand Am than chopped up 76 LeMans.
