Does anyone out there have experience with swapping the fenders from Chevelle/Beaumont.
From what I have found online, the fenders are the same. However I read an article in Muscle Car Review about one 1968 SD convertible, and
in it there was mention about small differences. One of the differences stated was that the fenders "may look identical to those from a Chevelle, but they
have their own design lines..."
So my question is has anyone noticed what these differences are and have you noticed any fitment issues or alignment problems when swapping fenders?
Thanks

i used a Chevelle fender on my 69 Beaumont, the only minor mod I had to make to the fender was where the outer headlight bezel fit. The Chevelle fender dose not have a deep enough "V" notch to fit the Beaumont bezel. Hope that helps.

There is a bracket that you will have to transfer over for the outer headlight bezel to screw in.
So don't throw away your old fender because you can cut it out and re-weld it into the new Chevelle fender

That is the only thing that is different everything else is exactly the same .
Now saying that if you can get an OEM fender that would be much better because the quality of the metal .
Ask Dave at the tin man if he has any 69 fenders in good shape that may just require a patch panel
