Went to start my car yesterday and nothing, no sound! The starter doesn't make any sound, not even a clicking sound.
Battery is new and fully charged
Lights don't dim when they are on and I turn the key.
Horn doesn't work either. but the 4 ways flash and the key in ignition buzzer goes off with key in ignition.
The car has electronic ignition which is only a few months old.
I don't think there is a fuse for the ignition? Not under the dash anyway.
I had just changed a fuse for the turn signals when the flasher shorted out aganist the dash, but it started after that.
Before my last run I was warming it up when it suddenly quit, but started right up again, it does have a rough idle which I am wondering if it rattled something loose or did the ignition switch finally give out, it does feel sloppy when you turn it?
Any help would be appreciated as electrical is not my forte

Check the connections at the starter, all wires. Give the starter a rap or two with a bar. Could be stuck.
If no go, attach a jumper cable and jump across from the big positive wire on the solenoid to the starter solenoid ignition wire. If she turns, then you might have an ignition switch issue. good luck.

Or a test light on the inside terminal on the solenoid, then try to crank. If it lights up everything is working, but the voltage might be low. I think it has to be over about 7 volts to pull the solenoid in.

Manual or automatic transmission? If automatic make sure youre all the way in park. Ive had that issue before when putting it into park slowly. Pulled the shifter back and slammed it into park and away it went. Also try it in neutral.

I can't really help, but have a couple questions that might assist with others helping you.
What year is your car? 1968? If 1968, I presume your ignition switch is still in the dash.
If 1969, I presume it'd have a locking column, with the ignition switch part way down the column.
