I have a couple emblems with a pretty good curve in them and I know they arent that strong at any time. Thoughts were to put them in the barbecue and then add a little weight to them once they were warmed up. Anyone had success with this?

If they are pot metal.
When a had that accident with the door that pushed in the quarter panel, (about 2-3in bend) it bent the the script petty good.
What I did was put it in the vise (wooden) and took my heat gun on high and warmed it up real good
and tightened up the vise at different stages until it was straight and then left it over night
and was able reuse it again when quarter was fixed.
