My wife and I just purchased a 65 2 door Acadian Canso sport deluxe. Is there a way to find out how many of these cars have survived?

Welcome here! I'm probably not the only one who would love to see a picture or two of your car.. I for one think the 65 Canso Sport Deluxe is one of the nicest looking cars GM ever made.
I believe the correct figures for production on those is 672 6 cylinder cars, 274 V8 cars.

Finally found someone to paint her. Will update pics when we get her back. Still looking for lower molding trim. Unfortunately, 1965 was a unique year and Chevy II didn't have this trim.
Looking forward to the pics once its painted. A great example of a very special model.

My kind of car! A rare one and in nice shape as well. The 194 was the only six offered 1962-66 on Acadians and is a fuel economy champ *when properly tuned*, which allows you to stay off the main jet.
It looks like factory power brakes on that thing, how unusual!
Grand Bend? A lakeside summer destination with beautiful sunsets.

We weren't sure what the rockers might look like underneath but she's pretty sound

Ok, I remember seeing that picture of it a little while ago. I forget though, where was it before?
As far as survival rate, I don't know there really is any way to tell. I would bet no more than maybe 15%-20% of the Sport Deluxes are left.
any one need a 55 chevy? it has to go now
