I was reading on a US Pontiac site and guys were trying to help a guy who has an issue with no brake lights on his 66 GTO. Someone told him 66 and older cars need the key on for the brake lights to function. Does anyone here own a Pontiac (US or Canadian) that needs to have the key "on" for the brake lights to function? This is a new one for me.

LOL, I take that to mean you and I both have never seen a 60's GM that needed the key on for the brake lights to work?
