 What year would that be?
 69, 70?
We had a badass one all tubbed out with a cage in my area about 30 years ago (before pro street). Lt green. No doubt they are rare as hens teeth now!

I believe it's a 68. The 70 had a full red tailight, and the 69-70 had the displacement above the fender marker. This one is down low on the fender.

Very cool car. Was it for sale a while ago out there? A friend of mine was contemplating a purchase of one that looked very much like that.

Hey StriperSS, it seems to me I've seen you on www.impalassforum.com, right?

I'm Darth on there.

Hey StriperSS

Just joined the website. I am looking for Acadian badging for a 1971. If you have any for sale or know of any place to get them the info would be greatly appreciated. YOUR CAR LOOKS GREAT! Are the Acadian badges on the quarter wings in the original location. I don't know. My 1968 had the badging on the top rear quarter. Any info as to placement would also be great.

Thanks, Joe

That tailight was used on 68-69.  The front marker light was the same in 68-69 and the engine displacement started above the marker light in 70.  The quickest way to identify a 68 is the ignition key is on the dash and 69 was the first model with the ignition key on the column.  My guess is it's a 69 because the 68 steering wheel was 3 spoke and the 69 was a wide bar from side to side.  Very hard to tell from this picture.

'68-'69 both used an almost square side marker lamp, '68 the frt marker was clear, '69 they were changed to amber. '70-'72 frt and rear marker lamps were all rectangular in shape.
