I wrote a "love story" in my Bio.. Probably should have been here. Please check out my story.. Think about this-- I came from New Brunswick, 40 years ago, loving a big white Pontiac Strato Chief.. My car was built in Oshawa, sold in Toronto, went to New Brunswick, and I had to go get it, and bring back to Ontario!!! God has a sense of humor. lol

Strato Chief's in general seem to be few and far between. I would have loved to have bought a 69 Strato but they seem to be extinct. Last one I saw was in the late 80's. The "vanilla" base cars often led a hard life..

SCARCE Canadian Cars

You are right! It didnt dawn on me,until this year, that most Canadian cars were rotted away, in the first 4-5 years.. I have the buyers package, for my car, and it was owned (in Toronto) from 1973-1991 by 3 sucessive Woman!   Because the car was no ps,pb, I presume these ladies, didnt drive it in winter! So being a "little old ladies" car saved its exitstance. My car is a clone-tribute-re-creation-orphan that was transformed by Parkhurst Motors in 1991.. It is amazingly rust free. It had a quicky paint job, in Toronto in 1996..The car has mint floors ,trunk and has never been restored..I mentioned being embarrassed at a car show. I know better, but every car I see a article on,has  had been restored ,and I cant see putting 10,000.00 into my car and having it still be worth 15   I plan on getting it out to the drags, this year.. The guys at the drags, are much more accepting of my driver quality car   Carl p.s. where can I post, pictures of my friends car (at the drags)from 1966?
