carl, carl, you awake? took a few pics but the inner fender brace is in the way of a good shot. i've posted a couple of a '66 biscayne i had saved. note on the 2nd pic, the ball stud threads into the bellhousing not the block.

DAVE; do you think, I can drill the holes, for the cross shaft bracket in the car? The different fork, would lead me, to think, there is a different cross shaft? I think the cross shafts are all similar, and the difference in forks, could be because of shaft screwing into bell housing, instead of engine?
you might have to pull the inner fender to get at that area, and use an angle drill. cross shafts are usually different between body lines. do you have a b-body cross shaft?
