        DAVE;  do you think, I can drill the holes, for the cross shaft bracket in the car?   The different fork, would lead me, to think, there is a different  cross shaft? I think the cross shafts are all similar, and the difference in forks, could be because of shaft screwing into bell housing, instead of engine?

you might have to pull the inner fender to get at that area, and use an angle drill.
cross shafts are usually different between body lines. do you have a b-body cross shaft?

        YES!  YES! YES! its out..   I cut it in half, and taped the 2 pieces, and stored them in the corner..  Whats next??
