Cool stuff. Maybe I'll see some of you at Three Hills this year.

I pulled the original 396 out in 2007 because it felt tired after the California trip. We were caught behind a wreck just outside of Las Vegas when it was 120 degrees and we inched along for about 45 minutes with the temp guage pegged. Then I played Mario Andretti on the Pacific Coast Highway. Lots of revs keeping up with the 70, 454, disc brake car.
Now running a fresh engine with a little more bore and stroke.
The original still runs, but it is resting.

A few more pictures.

Rick

Original 396 stick convert??? Doesn't get much cooler than that!

Years ago, a friend of mine found a 67 Grande Parisienne 2dr ht in Winnipeg. We had the guys number, and one weekend we see it in the paper. Called instantly, long gone.... I think it went for about $1200-$1400!

Nice cars! Do you keep in contact with the 70 454 owner? I've seen pics of that car before and would love to know more about it. Please invite him to the board if you are talking to him.

I have let the owner of the 70 2+2 know that he would be welcome here. I will let him talk about his cars when he gets here.

My 67 Parisienne Convertible is coming out of the paintshop with a fresh resto right away. I am looking forward to a summer on the road looking for a new Poncho project and meeting other Poncho enthusiasts. What and when is the Thee Hills event? Are Newbie's welcome?

Here's my 1967 Pontiac Parisienne conv. It has all 4 speeds on the console ,and the super rare Strato-flash V8..It POSItivly had a rear end..It had two doors and two seats, so i'm sure it was a 2+2..

It is hard to tell in the pictures but, do you have the V8 Emblems on the front fenders of the 2+2's in 67? If so could I ask you for the measurement for the mounting hole? I want to make sure that I get mine in the right place. Thanks, John
