Hello from Saskatchewan!

Looks like i'm the only SK here.

Oh well, I have a 64 Acadian 4 door that I pulled out of the bush a few years back. She now sports a BBC 427, glide and 4:56 gears. She was a street car up untill this Winter. I have decided to turn it into a full race car this year and will run her on Alcohol. Street days were fun, she has made a lot of street cars and owners pout!biggrin

10.99/118-1/4 mile

Hi Trev. Glad to see you here.
Nice ride too. Have you done any test runs?
Probably see you at S.I.R. Good luck this year at S.I.R.

Bob.

Thanks Bob, No test runs yet. Just got the moter back together (0 Decked the block, re ring and bearing). I needed a few more points of compression to run Alcohol. Also for this year a new 9 inch and 11.5 tires. Theres got to be a 147 60 foot in it somewhere.

Do you have pics of your car? send them over.

Trev

Hi Trev.
Bet your itchin to get some test runs..lol. I know i too would be excited to see her maiden run.
I posted as "Sask Newbe" on the welcome site. So some pics of my car are on there. I got a shop in S'toon to do the rear and install the subframe, and i am not to happy on how they cut out around the wheel well, but it's repairable.
You put trust in them and they tell you they've done it before, but i wonder.
I have a long way to go. Just got my fenders in at Walkers. So am going in Sat. to pick them up. My garage isn't heated so just getting parts and tools, and waiting for spring. I will insulate it this summer.
I don't think by the sound of it, that you'll have any problems achieving your goal.
Take care.
Bob.

Hey Bob, cool ride. If your having trouble finding a good tin banger for the floor, rear deck and trunk, I could probably hook you up with a buddy of mine. He does awsome work at a reasonable price.

Also let me know if you have any axtra parts for a 67, another buddy is building a 67 Nova true SS car and needs some glass, mouldings etc.

Hi again Trev.

I sure could use a good name in tin work. I have all the tin also, so it's just the big matter of getting it done.
You could email me the info if you don't mind. I sure would appreciate it.

As for parts, i am keeping the glass, and have sold some parts. But let me know what he needs and i can possibly get him a couple of names that have  nova acadian parts for sale. Better yet, just email me and i will give you the names. Click on my avitar, and you can get my email.

Talk at ya later Trev.

Bob.
