This is interesting stuff to see these rare 427 cars. Re. the 69s, if you add up the gold 427 4 spd 2+2 that recently sold in Ontario, the green car shown here, the white car in London and the blue?? (I think) car that Morley Brown owns (or owned - or is the green car shown here Morley's?), that accounts for 4 of the 10. Does anyone know of the others?
Talking with an older guy in my local neighborhood car club, he told me of a '69 Pontiac 2+2 he used to own. It was a white 2+2 convertible with red bucket seat interior, a 390-horse 427 and a 4-speed! He sold it years ago and he told me it was later wrecked

The Eastenders! We're a bunch of guys that get together on Thursdays to shoot the bull and bring out our iron (weather permitting). We have a dedicated Ford racer, a nice '67 Canadian 2+2, a 13,000 original mile, original paint Impala sedan (he owns a '70 Nova and a '70 Acadian SS project!), a '68 Triumph TR250, one guy with 4 or 5 1968 Dodge Polaras, my '67 Chevelle (which few have seen in person, my bad), 1950 Canadian Pontiac torpedoback coupe, 1950 Chevrolet torpedoback sedan, '63 Bel Air coupe with a healthy exhaust note, '62 Olds F85 Cutlass 215 aluminum V8 (now with 5-speed and 4-wheel disk brakes). We also have an Olds guy who moved out of the area abut stays in touch ('68 442 & '65 Jetstar 1), a couple of Road Runners and a nice '71 Demon 340 (now a stroker 408). There is also a pro-street Nova guy with a 505, and a Chevy II guy with a nice Oshawa '66 Nova and a '64 project. Our co-founders own a '63 Polara convertible (Canadian!) with a newer 440 with 2 4's plus a '78 Malibu Classic coupe powered by a '72 Z28 350, backed by a 4-speed. Not everybody shows as it is an informal thing, but overall we have a good time bench racing at Wimpey's Diner in the east end. For the last 3 years we have put on a car show in June at Rylander Plaza (near Old Kingston & Port Union).
There are a lot of interesting cars in the area. In Ajax I hear there is a nice cruise (in season). Of course there is Haugen's to the north-east.
