Im just new here , Buddy of mine sent me the link.. I have a question.. I have a Canadian GTO Judge, Built in Oshawa Ontario in December 1969.... She is powered with the Ram Air III Pontiac Block.. Is it ok for us to be in your forum. I see there are no other ones that I can see..
Thanks, Hope to meet you in a show this year in 2008. Are you thinking of coming up to Kamloops at the Hot night show.. What year were you there? I saw your write up on your Web page.. Nice job!
Welcome Pete Love your car. My favorite year and colour and Canadian built to boot. There is a car identical to yours about 30 minutes from me. Built in Oshawa Ram Air 4 speed. Originally Orbit Orange but is yellow now.
Thanks.. and what year is yours.. I was alley crawlin the other day and found one around the same body style.. Im thinking this one was a 68 or a 69.. its missing a drivers fender and has been sitting in the same spot for 2 years.. Its almost time for me to go knockin on his door, as Im thinking about getting into another Pontiac soon..
I don't want to get your buddy upset but if she was built in Oshawa then it could only have a Ram Air III engine.. Not hard to switch one over though..But if she is a Ram Air IV then check the check digit on the vin.. if it has a "1" where there would be a "P" for Pontiac then its an Oshawa Car.
They are reproducing most of those Ram Air Parts. I have a couple things laying around for spares . Just in case.. What kinda parts are you looking for?
Yes, specially when I go to the states and they see the Judge Option code"WT1" on the cowl tag. The only way they can find out in the american ones is to do a PHS check.
I did mine with Oshawa.
I have a buddy in Surrey with a Canadian built 70 455 HO GTO.

Hi Pete The Beaumont in my avatar picture is a 69. I think you misinterpretted my first reply mentioning another 70 Judge. It is a Ram Air III. 4 speed car.

take care
I was there first time in 2000 and then went every year for the next 4 or 5 years. I wasn't there the last two years. I am not sure about this year yet.
My car will be at the Tradex for the BC Classics and Custom Car Show in April. Come and check out the show.
When is the Kamloops show? and is it a show or a cruise night?
I am not sure about the exact date, but I know that they are mid August. They are kinda like the Langley Cruise in but on a smaller scale. When I was there, they covered about 10 city blocks. It is a very nice show. Well worth checkin out if you have the time and need a road trip.
On the friday night they have the Poker Run around town to the A@W's , its a good run and then there is a get together after that. The show is the Saturday morning and Sunday there is stuff going on but I am usually showed and cruized out by Sunday.. And do the BBQue thing here at my place with a couple guys that end up coming into town.
I have always wanted to make it to the Tradex show. If the roads are good I will shoot down.. They clean the roads here just before the Kamloops Easter Parade which I usually go in for the first cruise in. The Harrison list is out now so I will check that one off

Your right I did read it wrong.. If you ever see a Canadian GTO (non Judge) that is a Ram Air III car the guys on the Pontiac site are looking to see whats on the cowl plate .. They are trying to see if they have the WT1 option code on it.. (like the Judges made in Oshawa)
The one I saw with the missing front fender is a 69 then as it looks like the one in the picture you have. Sweet body style..
I have a m22 , pedals, bell housing etc... to make mine a 4 spd car but I hate to switch it, being a numbers car.. So keeping it just in case I found something I could build.
