So is your car an HO? Was it sold new in Canada? Do you have the GM of Canada or PHS documentation for it? I have a 72 Lemans Sport Convertible with the 455 sold new at Rumble Pontiac Buick.

Was the Bonne purchased off Ebay? I seem to remember a similar car on there at a damn good price..
No, purchased from a good friend of mine in FL who found it at a local swap meet. It only had about 6X,XXX miles on it, A/C had just been refurbished - landed at my door for $1,600 all in, heck, the 428 is worth more than that!

Did anyone notice that there is no hood mounted tach, a Pontiac trademark of this era GTO Judge?
I understand that Oshawa GTO Judge's didn't get them, so that is a visual clue that this is a Canadian car.

My Judge was built Dec 69... and they were having probs with them fogging up and condensation getting into them so they didnt put them on the earlier Judges I was told by Wagners back in 2000 in Oregon at a GTO Meet.. But later on they fixed the problem... I was going to put one on but its actually a conversation piece not having it!! And correct for the car..
I sold a Cardinal Red Judge to a buddy in Vancouver.. One of those things you should of never done but it was built after this one and had a hood tach.. It even had the radio delete , protecto plate.. sweet car... should of kept her... still kicking myself in the ass for selling it and so are others lol

Thanks for verifying my post. Everyone will have to admit that was impressive information I gave. Even a lot of GTO /Judge experts don't know this. I knew it was weather related but didn't say in my original post.
I agree 100% with your decsion not to retro-fit a tach on the car.
