A friend has a 66 Custom convert, a 68 SD396 convert, a 68 wagon (done up as a fully loaded SD396 wagon), a 68 convert, and is building a 69 wagon. Time to get some pics!!!

Hey Carl. I was talking to your friend the other day. I gave him the link to the forum but haven't seen him here yet. I have some pics of his cars but we'll let him post them when he arrives. You left one other 69 off the list.
Had a 68 beaumont wagon 18 years ago. Bought it off a older lady who was tired of driving a big wagon. Everything on it was in mint condition. Unfortunately, I stripped the car down for all its mint parts for my 68 coupe and got rid of the shell. At the time wagons where not the in thing to be restoring. I do regret it now.
I have a 66Tempest wagon for sale. It is a radio delete car.Has aGTO hood, Skylark disc brakes on the front. Drive train is a 230 inline 6 ,auto trans and power steering. It has PMD 14" Tri spinner hubcaps. It has rust on both front and rear Quarters. The fellow I bought it from was a carpenter so he made his own woody wagon by putting woodgrain arborite on the sides and also put Safaria emblems front and back. I was going to fix it but I bought a 69 Elcamino instead. I want $3000.00 for it . My number is 306-463-8759.
Beaumont looks cool with the vista roof, better than the olds and buick of the era. But they were longer w/base. What would be even neater would be to convert one of those rare 2 door Chevelle wagons from 64-65 to a Beaumont. I saw a 2 door wagon shell in a big Maine junkyard back in the 90s. Everything was crushed about 10 years ago but I was told that a lot of the more rare stuff was sold off first. Hope that one survived.
I'd be surprised if that was the case. i know the chevelle/beaumont wagons have a slightly longer wheel opening and quarter than the sedans. but are you sure the BOPs have a longer wheelbase than chevelles and beaumonts?

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
Well, if you look at a picture of a Vista or Sportwagon,compared to a Beaumont or Chevelle,the rear door is longer by about 5 inches.More of a luxury car so more room to get in and out,so I think the wheelbase is longer.Weird.
From 64-69 for sure, the Olds & Buick Vista Cruisers had a 120 inch wheelbase (longer than the Canadian Pontiac FS wagons) vs. the I believe 115 in wb for regular Olds F85/Buick Special/Pontiac Tempest and and Chevelle mid size wagons. I think the shorter cars look better proportioned, which may be one reason the Beaumont looks good with the Vista top while to me the Buick - a car I love in sedan and HT form - looks a little odd as a vista wagon.
Beaumontwagon.... i remember that 65 wagon for sale at the car show in selkirk (at the old rec centre in 1989...the first show with my beaumont... i liked it, it had no motor in at the time, but was painted... who built the car originally??
Not a Beaumont, but my 64 Chevelle two door wagon, which i've (mostly) converted the grill to a beaumont. I recently acquired the trim for the front of the hood, but still need the rest of the grill surround. I'm not planning on doing a full conversion of the car, just wanted it to be different, and had always thought Beaumonts were cool.
