What I started with to what it is now

Well heres a couple shots of my 66sd I bought the car in Quesnel BC being told that the rust wasnt that bad so I did the deal over the phone Went and got the car and have since done both 1/4s and inners, full trunk pan, both floor pans, both doors and also one fender Had the motor fully rebuilt going 60 over I have had it 6 years and just started the resto a little over a year ago All done in the shop at the house with the exception of the paint and this is the way it sits now

On the trailer after the road trip home

This is the way it is in the shop now I have had it runnin and most of the factory white interior is in Hopin to go for a drive in about a month

Nice car, I looked at one before buying my 64, it was in way worse shape than yours...........I passed.  It always amazes me how people think that their car is, "in good shape, solid".  People like this have never tried to do any body work(quarters, floors, etc), they don't realize what is involved to redo a car to that level.  Cudos for saving an "only in Canada eh?".

Thanks for the good comments guys This is the first time I have gone to this extent. Been a tough process but was able to drive it down the road for the first time in 6 years.
427Carl He didnt say to much about the rust I was originally told it was a 66 chevelle ss So I went for it I got there and then realized that it was a beaumont SD Went over it and realized it could still be saved withtime and money
Here it is Almost done

You've done a great job. You should be very proud of the fact that you stuck with it and completed it, AND that it looks so great to boot.

Without trying to offend anyone, I think it looks way better than the Chevelle you thought you were picking up!
