Hi from Minnesota

Hi everyone,
Man, am I happy to have finally found a site that caters to Canadian Pontiacs. I've been stumbling around for quite awhile looking for a group like this.
Just joined today and thought I'd introduce myself...I have a '60 Parisienne 2dr. sport cpe that I 've owned for a few years...283 w/350TH. It's a nice driver that I wrench on as time & $$ permit. Bought it from a guy in Thunder Bay who brought it to Back to the 50's here in St.Paul. I like mild customs with wide white walls (tidy whities).

Hope I can contribute at some point.  idea

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
 Curt

Welcome Curt.

Now, it's very late in Canadian Poncho land, so get some sleep. You will have a lot of catching up to do here in the next while so you need a good rest!

Welcome aboard Curt. Glad you found the site and nice to know that the car hasn't been de-Canadianized  confused. I had a 69 Beaumont that was made to look like a Chevelle.

Doing that would be just wrong...

Hi and thanks again for the welcome.
No intention to de-Canadianized! I like the unique qualities.

Does anyone have any experience with my posting in 58-64 Full Size Body Tech ?

Not too far off! You likely have even bigger fish in your area. No shortage of them in Minnesota...

Set him free. Funny thing is, I had never seen a trout before in 50 years of being at the lake. threw him back because I knew whatever it was, I didn't have the right tag on my license to keep him. Lots of pics on file though!

He was. Pretty amazing reflexes for a 50 year old guy, eh?

That was a flying trout that I happened to see hovering around Carl so he managed to get the boat in position for a photo. It wasn't exactly the Walleye he was hoping for that day but it will have to do.

LOL, there is a touch of bitterness in 67SD396's tone. He and I were out in the boat most of the day, and one of us caught more fish than the other.......................

Guess which guy caught more fish!!!

Curt

If you ever have reason to be in the Lincoln Nebraska area, let me know. I have a friend there who has a nice 60 Parisienne 348 4 speed and I bet he'd love to talk cars with you. He also has a 66 Acadian Sport Deluxe 350 horse 327 and is doing a 67 Beaumont 327 4 speed.

 Hey Carl,
I'd love to swap stories with your buddy. Get him on this forum so we can check out his rides!
I have not run into any '60 Parisienne owners. We did see a couple cool '60 Laurentians last summer at Back to the 50's in St.Paul, but the owners weren't around to talk with.
I'd like to find leads for sources of clean Canadian specific parts.

He's a real car nut, but he's NOT a computer guy! He uses it for the basics, but you won't ever find him on a forum.

I will keep my eyes open for 60 stuff. For that matter, all Canadian Pontiac stuff now that I finally know of this group.
