65 beaumont custom wagon

Anyone out there have a picture of the tailgate trim used on the 1965 beaumont custom station wagons?  The brochure only show a car with the tailgate open. Just curious for my own knowledge, never been able to find a pic, and never seen a stock one in person.
I think it has "chrome louvers" on each side?  any thought or pics?  I'm sure the rest of us are intersted too.

BeaumontGuru,

The trim on the '65 Beaumont Custom wagon tailgate is very similar to the '57 nomad wagon tailgate.   If memory serves me there were six chrome strips running vertically on the tailgate from window to bumper.

I haven't seen a '65 Beaumont Custom wagon since I was with a friend looking at one back in the early 80's.

Heres a pic of what I believe to be an origional tailgate from a 65 beaumont wagon. The emblem says acadian on it.The thread on the 'body' forum I posted was to find out if the louvers on a 2 door coupe quarter were the same as these, cause Im missing a few. They measure 5 1/4 tall,x3/8 wide and the bolt spacing is 3 1/4.If they are the same, does anyone have a few theyd be willing to sell? The photo is from about '82 when the fellow who built my car tubbed it and was putting the body back on at Forzleys Chassis shop. The Vista top was added at the same time.

sound the same as the SD cars.. do you have a casting number from them?  I have a few spares.. and you can also get new ones (reproduction) for a 66 2+2.  a local guy I told about them, actually bought some and they are Identical to the SD louvers, just the casting number was different.  so if that doesnt matter to you .. I'll try to dig up the link

cool car.

bummer.  from the photo's of the wagons.. it looks like the ones on the SD cars.. but from the close up.. they're quite different.. I'll bet the hole spacing is the same.. I'm working out of town for a few months.. I'll try to measure the studs on the ones I have.. and send you a close up of one of them..
