Newbie 1rst time posting.

Hello all , I am a newbie at this computor stuff so bear with me. Anyway my name is Ted and i am from Vancouver Island, and a member of Canadian classic chevelles and Beaumonts. I have a 66 sport deluxe, that has been on the island its whole life. #s matching 327 .Have a turbo 400 with a shift kit in it now,but still have the original powerglide. It is bored out and has a mild cam. I will try to post a picture, but have not done this before so it may not go through. Yes I am also one of those almost 60 year old computor illiterate guys.

Man, how fast do I have to be to be the first Carl to say welcome here???

That is a beautiful car. Wow.....

I love the color together with the vinyl top. 327 SD's are pretty unusual, at least around here.

If the other Carl above me gets out of hand, just let me know!

Hi guys thanks for all the great comments! I bought my beaumont four years ago. It was owned originally by a elderly man here in Victoria, he sold it to a lady who restored it in the early 90s,she  sold it to another lady here who  had it for 10 years . She did take the car to Hot August Nights at some point in time. I would like to take it down there this summer again, have booked the time off but, have not decided for sure yet. yawn.gif

Hey Ted welcome aboard! Luv the ride. I am also planning on the Hot August Nights, booked the time off and am currently looking for accomodations. My car was there 10 years ago with it's previous owner. Cheers, John
