Wait a minute....that wasn't me....my account has been hacked! Seriously, I love all old cars. I've had GM, Mopar, Ford and even Studebaker cars in the past (ok, my Ford was always breaking down-it was a 65 Galaxie 500xl with a 390/toploader..) Todd
I bought a 68 El Camino a couple months ago. It will be my next project if I ever decide what I want to do with it. It has a 307 with a 3 on the tree with factory overdrive. This is the first time I saw a manual transmission with overdrive in one of these old cars. It also has cruise control but I'm not sure if it was factory installed. The engine has never been out of the car. James
This was my driver last summer- 54 Chevy 210. Stovebolt 6, 3 on the tree. 47000 miles. Major "patina". Original paint. Was in a barn forever due to busted trans. Solid as a rock. Even the clock and radio worked!
Action shot with yours truly donning my stylish safety glasses. That's my 63 Studebaker Lark 2 door sedan that was sold to help finance the Laurentian beside the 54. My plan was to run a supercharged "R2" Stude 289/4 speed.
My politically incorrect window decal:
As service manager of a GM dealership, I am entitled to a company car. I can't be bothered with the BS of having one so I drove this to work most of the summer. You can just imagine what my fellow managers thought. I love doing things like that!
