south of sarnia, along st.clair parkway. Im a delivery driver for county heritage forest product(doors and trim for houses) and i see cars all over the place. I will try to post any old cars i see here in this forum.
saw the car again on friday and took a look at it..... bad thick lookin paint and he made some weird rear wheel cover that goes from bumber to almost the door????? there was no # to call or price and he was working on the house and dident awnser me when i was yelling in the door(he had country music on full blast) looked like everything was there, the interior was just thrown in the car and the body was a little suspicious cause of the paint and weird body mods. The guy is trying to sell his delapitated house so maybe the car could be bought cheap so he could put the money towards his renovations??
59poncho l know where there is a poncho just like your is sitting and it's the same colour and 4 door I don't know if for sale but no way as good a shape as your
59 poncho I took a look at the poncho Today it very rough. And it's a two door post instead a four door.THe car is not for sale but you can take parts of it and she didn't say any thing about cash for the parts.I have her phone # Here are afew pictures
its funny you said you see it in black 69 laurentian cause thats what im doing with mine but matte black(until i can get the real paint job down the road) but with green steelies and off white and green interior(that way i dont have to change the interior when i paint the car green. maybe i will have to take a road trip and grab what i can!! Thanks Slinky!!
i really need the pass. side chrome trim thats on the front fender, mine has been banged up pretty good on the spear part so if i could get her # from you that would be great, and where is norfolk mall? it sounds familliar.
Matte black will work. I know a guy who painted his 29 Ford Rod with "Zero Rust" flat black in rattle cans. I think that was 7 years ago and it still looks good. He drives the wheels off that thing.
I painted my car with "rattle" cans....RustOleum..I think. Used Canadian Tire money to buy the paint(including the Copper) roof. Might change it to grey primer this year, to make it look like a different car...LOL
