Have driven a GM LATELY?

This post is for those of you, who are pro big 3.. For those of you, who prefer IMPORTS, please delete this!   This week, we decided to buy a vehicle, for my wife. She wanted a big Cadillac Suv!! I found a 2005 Escalade 6.0 L on E-bay with 68k miles on it! $21,500 (buy it now)  As the good Lord would have it, I was directed to a dealer, with 6 newer GM suv's in stock.. He was a dealer, I had done business with, while I was running a tire shop.. He suggested a FLEX FUEL with electronic engine management, would be a better alternate..He said he was selling 4 a week, because they were so good on fuel. He sent me home with a Gold Mist Suburban LT with tan leather.. I was in love! lots of power, handles as well as Vettes, i've had, and tons of room! Momma took to it, like Duck to water! It has Autotrac 4x4 and GM remote start.. I went back to dealer, and he must have wanted to make up for some (concerns-issues) we had in the past , as he offered it to me, for several thousand less than I was thinking it would be!   In between time, our leader TODD, had run the VIN for me and helped me to decide to buy...  I rented a 08 Impala in N.B.in Dec, and loved it!  It was much smoother, and quieter than my moms Camry!   Barb is going to Bowmanville this week, and we will check hwy. mileage then... Today, I filled it up, and it had gone to Seaforth 2 twice, and Goderich twice, and I had performed some performance runs with it! and Barb had let it run several times to warm up, and it averaged 15.7!  Thats better, than any V6 mini van that we EVER had, would do!!!!  It has bumper to bumper warranty til 2009 and powertrain warrant til 2014 N/C   Thanks GM!  and thanks  TODD!     Carl 2   p.s.  sorry, but the GMC was not the color we wanted cry
