That 63 Strato Chief 2 dr sedan that you had would be incredibly rare with 409/425 4 spd. Aubrey Bruneau's site has tons of info on early 409 Pontiacs.

I saw a 425 HP 4 spd Parisienne HT for sale in Ontario about 7 years go. All original red car in nice shape, but sold by the time I got to it. Saw it the following year with new paint and mags. Beautiful car. There is also a 64 409/340 Parisienne convt currently for sale in Maine, and a 63 409/340 Parisienne wagon also for sale in the US - it's been on E-bay a few times.

A 409 Strato would be a sweet car to own. You'll have to post some of those photos.

No Harry, I don't know about any 63's, but I DO know of a 64 StratoChief post, 425 horse, in a small town in western Alberta. Car is untouchable though.

There is a 63 parisenne in Calgary that had the 409 4 speed transplanted from another wrecked 63 parisenne.  The car is  only a couple blocks from my place but it hasn't moved in probably 10 years or more and he won't sell it.
