The Kings 1983 ride, not a LeMans....The LeMans was so good NASCAR made so many rules about it that it became non competitive. Allison and Yarborough embarassed everyone by using the LeMans because no one paid attention that it was the most areo car after a front nose styling change.

With new G8  coming out  maybe they can use it in Nascar?    couldnt look any worse,than those megA-million TOYOTA CAMRYS

The powers at be in NASCAR want to standardize the car and engines so not likely we'd ever see a G8 running.


Pontiac had a few good years 60,61,62 with the Super Duty cars, Fred Lorenzen and Fireball Roberts led the way with Smokey Yunnick's brain power.
