rad hose

Im changing the heads on my car from a set of new style smog heads to a paor of 67 heads, problem I run into is the 67 heads have no location for the temp sending unit, the intake I have is a edelbrock performer, it has a location at the front of the intake but my thermostate housing is the 45 degree one that fits a hose for my stock rad, Im changing the housing to a straight out one, now a need a hose to fit my stock rad, any one else run into this.

you can try a 45 degree or 90 degree fitting off the intake and use your stock thermostat housing. pretty sure it will work, i've used almost all of edelbrocks intakes on an sbc (except the performer)... air gap, vic jr, 2-4, 3-2, torker ...with stock rad, housing and hoses...

I wanted to run my car all stock and some how ended up with a 90 on the t stat housing and could not find a hose to fit Finally figured out that it was supposed to have the 45 on it and the problem was solved Best bet is if you know your parts guy try and get a few for test fits
