It's in the US. looks nice and no reserve bid auction sitting at less than $1,000 now. Would make a really nice car for soemone. Gets you into most cruise nights too, at least those with a 20 year cutoff! May even qualify for the Concourse judging at Chinguacousy Park in Brampton.
That is a great deal, too bad it is so far away. Those cars are great highway cruisers. 70's and 80's Ponchos are really growing on me, not the least of reasons being their affordability and value! One of my friends in high school bought a 75 Lemans sport hardtop brand new (well, his parents bought it for him, it was the family's first car). When most people in high school had junkers that were 10+ years old, we used to cruise like kings in that car. White with a red interior. High school car memories are the best!

Hey Hillar, The nice weather is here. When will we see your Laurentian?
As a matter of fact tomorrow I have to go over to my Mother's condo where it is stored and fire it up and move it outside because they are going to be sweeping the underground garage next week. It will probably be filthy but I will try and take some pics and finally post them up.
It needs a bit of work before it will be back on the road. Last fall the heater core rad blew up. Coolant all over the passenger side floor. Not looking forward to pulling that thing out and getting it repaired. Plus I've got some wonky connections for the tail lights, sometimes the turn signals work, some times they don't. I suspect some of the sockets are corroded not giving a good contact. Unfortunately work around the house is going to have to take priority for the next few weeks, plus there will be a few swap meets to go to as well....

It really is a 307 Olds engine. The US cars had that. The 8th digit in the VIN is a Y for 307 Olds. It will be a Quadrajet with a computer. I owned one in a US Cutlass years ago. Never again!
