do they exhaust out the back, or down in corvette style? I have 2 or 3 but I call them 63 67 corvette I will check numbers on them I used a set on the 92 Sunbird conversion, because S10 v8 adapters, set engine in such a way, headers wouldnt fit.. do you have pictures I could bring them out when I bring the car...Carl
It needs to look the same as this. I am pretty sure that the way the alternator mounts is unique to Nova/Acadian, but it would be great if you would check to see if you have one.
Oh, I mean it needs to look the same as this except that it has threaded holes for 3 studs, not 2 studs and one broken hole

I will get mine out.. one of them, I have is close. my friend, Tom down the street hasnt had manifolds on for 40 years, I will see what his are like.. he has 67 Nova will send/post pictures..
I checked with TOM down the street. He has the original manifolds, somewhere in his basement .he took them off in 1969, and wants to keep them, as he Might WANT to put them on , when he restores the car in 2055.. This is the 67 327-275 bench seat 4 speed car He want to keep it original?.. He has new quarters, he bought in the 70's. The car needs front and rear floors, new complete trunk, frame rails, door skins, rockers, front fenders, hood and trunk lid. It also need cowl/lower front rear window repair, but when it is done in 2055, it will be nice, and ALL original....sorry, I got off on a peeve.. CARL
We hear you Carl, so typical. Now my turn......Reminds me of cruise goer I overheard talking about my car last summer, pointing out that one of my vaccum lines "should have a green stripe on it". I asked him where his car was parked, but he had to admit it was in no condition to drive or show.......Hmmmmm. Mine drives and can even burn a little rubber from time to time, imagine that with the non correct vaccum line!
You have to be careful C2, maybe 1966 Pontiacs need the dual white striped hose to pick up a 10th, the green striped one is an emission era hose and may slow you down.

Thanks very much for trying Carl. I will keep hunting.

did you ever find a manifold Carl ? Ive had these kickin around in a box for 20 years , dont know what ill do with em ;) but theres a catch , i need the original front fender V8 emblems for a 66 canso... or at least i hope to find some ;) let me know if you need these ..
No, I never did find it. I could certainly use those. My left one is damaged and the right one I would also like to replace because it has the ports in it for a smog pump and my car of course does not have the pump.
I will send you a PM.
Thank you.

Hey Guru, are you sure you're car starts without the green stripped vacuum hose????? I'm pretty sure it won't. As for the manifold, was that same one used on trucks????? or something with A/C???? I remember tossing a lot of manifolds away when I was younger. LOL I'll check the trunk of my Pontiac, it's been sitting for years, but when I get around to it, man is it going to be something else. Sorry, that manifold does look familiar though. Brought a lot of old stuff back from Wpg. last year when I got my cars out to Ont. Of course, I haven't touched them since, but one day......I'll check after work tomorrow and let you know.
First off, I have to apologize publicly to Canso_SD. I don't think I ever gave him credit for fixing me up with this pair of manifolds. Not only did he pack them up and get them shipped to me in great time, but when I got them they didn't look like they do in the picture above because by then they had been sandblasted as well. I could not have asked for a better way to get helped out on manifolds, and then I dropped the ball in thanking him on here.
So thank you VERY much for helping me out with them. Now, I just need some spare time to get my engine assembled. It was supposed to have happened a few weeks ago, but now it looks like it will be fall...
Thanks again, Canadian Poncho!!!

And this fall it will be! We purchased a cabin this summer and have spent a lot of time there. That season is winding down now, so it's soon back to the cars...
