Hey, welcome to the site. To be helpful can you explain your idea of a Good Buy, I think everyone has their own idea of this term from a car priced lower than it should be to a car that will rapidly appreciate. Just give us an idea.
It looks like a car in very good shape that will gradually appreciate in value ... is the asking price justified?

Opinions are so subjective. I think the Pontiac above is a good buy when comparing it to the Phoenix, a lack of a V8 engine in my opinion takes away from this car. I will agree that it is in very good condition but really not a car that is all that desireable or collectable. My honest opinion is it is hard to get anything old and decent for under $7,000 but I feel this price a bit too high for what it is.
Yes, the Buick 3.8 V6 is among the best motors ever produced by GM, in fact you can find these factory installed in Jeeps as well. I had an especially powerful one in a 92 Bonneville I drove for 15 years. That wasn't my point. As a driver this is a nice car, as a collectable not so desireable. If it was equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission that would be a distinguishing feature but generally speaking V8's are required, the bigger the better. In the end it comes down to personal choice.

I vote for the green Lemans V8 always sounds better, in my humble opinion, and there is money to improve it...
I really like much older cars, but now I'm finding the prices are getting way up there. I'm a real car nut ... I used to own a 68 Olds Cutlass 442 convertible in the early 1980s (in Ontario), and I'd like to get back in the game. I'm confined to Canada's east coast (Maritimes) in my purchase area.
It would be nice to get a Canadian Pontiac so I can join in on the discussions on this site ... I've been reading all the posts here since it started up ... great Canadian car site, great Canadian car people!

....then there is no way you would be satisfied with that brown car. I think the best thing to do is settle on a budget, year or year range of a particular model you like then confine your search to that car, otherwise you will be looking at 100's of cars and never reaching a conclusion. It will probably end up saving you time and increasing your satisfaction with your purchase.
