1980 Grand Prix

I have my 80 GP with a cluster that contains a clock but no tach, I recently obtained a cluster with tach and wondering if it is a matter of just switching out the tach with the clock or is it a bit more to it. Any help?

There is a bit more to it. Show us photos of the front and rear of both clusters and we can help.

Just finished my refurbished Rally II wheels for my GP, looking for more upgrades later.

Have a rebuilt 350 SBC to replace my 301, will this bolt up to my stock tranny?

Not unless you are fortunate enough to have a dual pattern transmission that fits Chevy as well as Buick-Olds-Pontiac. GM has two patterns-Chevy or all the rest.

My input is too look for a Pontiac 400, they should be in the salvage yards if you look at the right cars. I'd start with 73-77 LeMans or full sized Wagons, try Firebirds in that range as well and Grand Prixs up to 77.

Sorry, looked everywhere in province and unable to find 400/455, will have to settle for 350 sbc, not a bad engine anyhow. Will make it work

Yes, I have one, but now you need a transmission too.
