Our son did me proud today!

Today at school the grade 8 teacher asked the kids to all come up with ideas of where they wanted to go for their field trip this year.

I hate to say it but I spent most of high school in the auto wreckers!

I actually sent my son to the wreckers a couple of weeks ago. He was driving our 94 Buick beater and he beat it....smacked a Jeep, broken grille, latch and crumpled the hood.  I figured you smash it you fix it.

It was a lesson lost....he loved it! Came home with mud up to his knees and a hood for $50, latch for $10 and grille for $20. Repaired the car in about 45 minutes.

You are probably right Carl, but he seemed to have too much fun and now he likes the fact that his hood is medium blue and the rest of the car is purple pearl.
