1971 Acadian Badging WANTED

Anyone know where I can get Acadian badging for a 1971. Used, Repo, what ever. I used to own a 1968 when I was much younger and am now realizing how rare they are. I just picked up a 71 Acadian and it is covered in Nova SS badging and I want to change it back. Any help or leads would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks, Joe

Welcome here Joe.

I think you are right about trim being a tough thing to find. Good for you, changing it back into the unique car it is.

Being on this forum has opened my eyes to how unusual our Canadian cars are. I am now realizing that I should be picking up the unique pieces when I see them for sale.

..............like the 7 or 8 pieces of Acadian trim I left behind at our swap meet last weekend. That was a bonehead move.

I'll also keep an eye out for you.

Ps. Where was the swap meet.

Hey Carl

I am located in Ontario in a small town about an hour away from Hamilton Ontario.

If I can find pictures of my old 68 Acadian I will try to post them, if I can figure this system out.

I did tell you I am old didn't I.

Thanks
Joe

Hey Kevin

Thanks for the response. Where is Wilies?

Did you pick up Acadian emblems or Nova?

I already have the Original Hood Emblem, looking for rear and sides.

Thanks,
Joe

Joe

I checked your profile. If you put the correct birthyear in there, that's not old. I'm only a year younger than you and I'm still a pup!

Posting pics with www.photobucket.com is the best.  You go there, load your pics into an album (once you have signed up, for free) and then copy and paste the link to your album. It automatically shows the pic on here when you copy and paste the link.

Carl

Joe, they were Acadian emblems, If you go to the Beaumont part of this site and go through the pictures, I am holding the rear emblem. Willie lives near Port Hope , north of the 401. I wish we could have stayed longer but we wanted to beat the long weekend traffic.
