On my way home I found a 70 Parisienne ragtop with a for sale sign in it. I haven't phoned for a price yet, but I'll post the photos in a few minutes, once I downsize them. 350 auto, red with beige interior.
I talked to the owner, it's been in the family since 1981, and was his dads. His dad passed away 5 years ago, and it's had about 1600 miles since. Looks like it has 131,000 miles on it, and was painted in the 80's. He's asking $11,000.00 for it, but it's probably negotiable. He says the car was bought new in Kelowna, BC, so it's a western car. Looks like new shocks and muffler, and it has drum brakes.
I have more photos, and can go and look at it any time.
If it's as good as it looks that's a deal, isn't it?
What are the 2 switches left of the shift indicator? I assume one is "top" but what is the other? No rear defog I assume, it has no power antenna. Reverb maybe?

This is the 3rd convertible I've found in Summerland. The other 2 are projects. One is a 68 2+2, and the other is a 69 2+2. This is a pretty small town too.
I met a guy on Monday ,he had the same model, color ,etc. in Thamesford Ont. He bought it new in Ingersoll in August 1970. It was in a shop next to my buddys place getting serviced for the summer.
