What if's or Also Known as

73SC and myself were contemplating our next project and the topic of What if's came up. The cars that were never build that should have. Like with me it's a Beaumont El Camino or a TPI350 5spdM '86 Gran Prix 2+2.

So what would you build that was never built in the first place?

I like the idea of a 70 Beaumont. Someone with some artistic skill could create a new front end panel and different rear end treatment and put it on a 70 Chevelle. Use a 70 LeMans dash, a 454 (LS6 of course!) . and a M22 trans. Who's up to the challenge??

How bout a full size Canadian 69 Pontiac POST car with a bench seat, 427, 4 speed and doggie dish hubcaps? I'd like mine black with red interior please. I wonder if Impala post pieces could be adapted?

Speaking of SD's, how about an aluminum body (hood, fenders, bumpers, trunk) Swiss cheese frame Super Duty 409/425 hp Strato Chief?

I had a 69 Safari Estate wagon (396 2bbl) - wouldn't that be the equivalent Carl?

I would have liked to have seen any full size wagon with 4 speed, bucket seats and console and of course the biggest big block available that year - by that I mean like COPO cars where you could order the highest HP vette motor available.  wink
