On Kijiji London. I can't get the link to work so here is the text:
This vehicle is a VERY clean and ORIGINAL example of the popular Firebird sport coupe. Equiped with its original 305 Chevrolet V-8. Tree speed automatic. Motor runs great. Original paint and in good shape. The interior of this beautiful low mileage Bird is the Deluxe Sport Interior, with its original Delco AM pushbutton radio. Stored during winter, very solid car, and very comfortable ride. I have the white wall tires that go with the original look. Owned it for 6 yrs. Busy Dad, I don't drive it much, it needs a good home!
That is a nice looking car. I have a 77 Esprit from Seattle Washington that is nowhere near nice as that local one! If anyone buys it I have a Formula hood & rear spoiler, factory 8 track and complete A/C system for it
It's probably Norwalk Ohio built. It will be a "U" code 145 hp 2 bbl.The one I have is a factory equipped 350 4bbl Oldsmobile. It was built in or for California market. 1st one I've seen with a Olds 350, apparently for emissions reasons?
i have my "shaker' and also have the chrome type dash insert if anyone wants it. Mine was an Ohio built one with the 305 and a 4barrel, no hood bird but it had the ones behind the doors and the 5.0 logo on the scoop. I cant even count how many times a 5 litre mustang would want to race me!! Not too many beat me suprisingly but i guess when you have a drag racer for a mechanic it makes things a little better.
funny most of the "good" cars I had came from London area
very nice with chevy power! must be a Canadian Pontiac?
By 77 the age of the GM "corporate" engine had arrived. If you ordered a 400 with a stick, you got a Pontiac engine, if you ordered a 400 with an automatic, you got a 403 Olds. Emissions had a lot to do with it as California frequently got engine/tranny combos that weren't available any where else and vice versa.

I had a 77 Camero at one time, it had the 305 chev, my friend picked up a 77 Firebird Formula, it had T-tops, auto and a Pontiac 301. Neat car. it was purchased used in Winnipeg, but an American car. He upped the ante!
If it was a Formula I would be interested. It's probably worth the money, but a plain car is a tough sell. Even more so now that the economy has slowed down. That car would make into a nice T/A style driver with a few parts added!
