Here's a link to a car for sale on Kijiji. It's a 1980 Sunbird Formula. Definately a one of a kind car. I always like these oddball pieces. It's north of London, ON. in Exeter. I lived up there for 7 years and never saw it. I guess it was "hibernating".
I had a 1980 Monza Spyder that I bought out in London back in 01 one owner 39,000 kms really clean stored since 1984-I bought it @ $3500 I sold it at $4500, then it was resold at $6000-another should have kept it
"Pontiac Blue Block 3.8" othewise known as Buick V6......I had a V8 Monza for my first car, it ate these things up for breakfast, mind you the Hooker headers with duals dumping just back of the axle, accel ignition, 400 sbc top end from a Kingswood Estate sort of helped...Hell it ate some new 80's Vettes for breakfast too. I learned to do brakes with this car, it was basically a Vega and those front rotors were not finned, went through brakes every 6000 miles, just like an oil change! We won't talk about rear tires.
Back in the early days I was on a run of them, My first licensed car was a 75 2+2 Monza with the 262 V-8 auto, I later had a 1978 Spyder with a 305 4-speed-I put a 400 small block in it-never stopped spinning the wheels ! My brother had a 76 2+2 with the 262 auto-he put a 350 in it-I bought the v-6 one because it was so clean-what a great car-the guy worked at GM, financed it and when it was paid for in 1984 he stored it, never seen winter, white with tan interior great ladies car-for the $3500 I had in it I really should have kept it.
