50 dollar truck

So the other day i was helping my frends mom pick up some furniture from a yard sale that was at the other side of town, and i was helping her load this stuff into the bed of her truck when i noticed a truck in backyard of this place that had a small sign in the window that said for sale.So i went to take a closer look at it.It was actually a pretty cool truck, it was a 1978 dodge 4x4 powerwagon with a manual and locking axles,it was reallly cool, the paint was a little faded and the interior needed some work but overall it wasnt that bad.So i went and talked to the older lady that was having the yardsale, and she said it was her late husbands and that it ran a few years ago but was then parked,so i asked her how much  she wanted she said 50 bucks! and she said if knowone bought it she was gonna have it towed away cause she had no use for it.and i rushed back to my house after helping sharyl load the stuff up.So igot back to my house and told my mom i found a truck for 50 bucks she said "wow only 50 bucks" i said yep 50 bucks so we went to look at it and from the starting i could tell she didnt like it but i pleeded with her but she said no you already have to many projects(wich is true a boat and a bunch of motercyles) so i ended up not geting it but i talked to my frend and his dad said he could buy it so we went back but it wasnt there she had called one of thoses free towaway places and it was taken to a yard it was pretty sad cuse it probaly wouldev ran with a little work
