when i was looking through all the people on here there was one guy with a 59 wagon. I asked him for pics but his photo account thing says it needs a password. I guess these are pretty rare birds?!
My uncle Jack had a 59 Laurentian in that coral colour with white roof. I posted this before but he loved that colour so much that first Christmas he got it he painted the tree pink with only white ornaments! I'm not kidding and this was like in 1960 so he must have brushed the darn thing. All I remeber is that the tree looked pretty darn nice! He was a pretty neat uncle, played in the Toronto Scottish pipes and drums band. Have you ever heard bagpipes in the confines of a semi-detached mid town Toronto house? Oh ya my dad was in it too, he played snare, so pipes and drums in a house that was about 14 feet wide!!
I have actually heard bagpipes in way too small of a room!!! I also remember at christmas my grandfather and uncle Jack(weird eh) would play bagpipe music the whole night. Im also a musician with a room full of guitars, big amps, drums, keyboards, organs, you name it, i make noise with it!!
thanks ghost, but a little out of the way for me to go grab it. I was thinking about what i really need for the car and all thats left is seat covers and door panels. Started to make the new panels yesterday so i just have to cut a couple more and then cover them with some sort of funky fabric. Im going for the rat rod type of look, cant afford the real stuff right now.
